Over the years, Research has become an integral part of AGS activities. We believe that the pursuit of knowledge should be a socially relevant activity.

AGS believes that social science research can be made meaningful to society at large, by linking it with programmes of sustained social action. AGS undertakes research with the conviction that effective and sustained social action requires identification and analysis of conditions at the grass root level. We have conducted research on the following topics:
